The album is a pop CD. - Young Guns recorded their new album 'Ones and Zeros' in Bath, England, with producer Steve Osbourne (U2, Joy Division). It is the follow-up to the band's successful 2012 album 'Bones.' English alternative rock outfit Young Guns formed in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire in 2003. The quintet, which features the talents of vocalist Gustav Wood, bassist Simon Mitchell, drummer Ben Jolliffe, and guitarists John Taylor and Fraser Taylor, turned heads in 2009 with their debut EP Mirrors. The group's penchant for apocalyptic lyrics and huge, stadium-ready anthems drew comparisons to artists like LostProphets and Taking Back Sunday, and landed them an opening slot for the first night of Bon Jovi's London residency at the O2 arena. Striking while the iron was hot, the band released their full-length debut, All Our Kings Are Dead, the following year. The group's sophomore outing, Bones, was recorded in Thailand with former Sikth guitarist Dan Weller. |
