This record marks a significant evolution in Testament's sound, blending their classic thrash roots with heavier and groove-oriented elements that showcase the band's versatility and willingness to experiment. Eugene S. - 30/Jan/2023 Low is the sixth studio album by American thrash metal band Testament, released on September 30, 1994. Low is dedicated to Savatage guitarist Criss Oliva, who died while Testament was working on the album, and is thanked in the liner notes ("may Criss rest in peace"). I recommend.
| | Oleksiy K. - 06/Oct/2019 After the releases of "Souls of black" and "The Ritual" I thought Testament was over. The band was stagnating, self-repeating, grunge started to dominate. Eric Peterson and Chuck Billy hadn't gave up, hired a few kick-ass guys to staff the band and released this great album. No weak compositions here! To me this one is among Testament's best.
| | HYUNG RAE K. - 10/Aug/2019 lead guitar is james murphy. the best thrash album. favorite songs is Low, Hail Mary, trail of tears, shades of war, dog faced gods, urotsukidoji
| | Alexander S. - 18/Jul/2019 The second after the Souls of Black for my love album for this group. So, Alex Skolnick went to Savatage and Murphy himself took his place. In music - testament thrash with subtle elements of death. Chuck Billy began to fall into childhood precisely at that time and instead of normal singing, he tried to growl through lotions. But this album still does not spoil, as in the two subsequent slop releases. Hit songs, music is very technical - the old school lets know. I was hooked from the first time. Musthave.
