"Roll The Bones" on CD is a landmark studio album by the Canadian rock band Rush, released during the band's acclaimed later period when they were blending their progressive rock roots with a more concise, song-oriented approach. The record combines intricate musicianship, thought-provoking lyrics, and a polished production that captures the trio's signature interplay: dynamic drumming, melodic yet virtuosic bass and keyboards, and expressive guitar work. Thematically, "Roll The Bones" revolves around chance, fate, and how individuals respond to uncertainty in life, giving the album a consistent conceptual thread without becoming a full concept album. For fans of intelligent rock that still delivers memorable hooks, this CD edition offers a focused, energetic listen that stands as a key entry in Rush's extensive catalog.

As a band, Rush have long been celebrated as one of rock's most technically proficient and influential power trios. Over the decades, they developed from a hard rock act into pioneers of progressive rock and beyond, known for their complex song structures, shifting time signatures, and philosophically tinged lyrics. Their career encompasses multiple classic albums and a large, dedicated global fanbase, and they are frequently cited as an inspiration by musicians across rock and metal. Recognized for both studio innovation and powerful live performances, Rush have secured their place among the most respected and enduring bands in rock history.

The CD format of "Roll The Bones" provides clear, detailed sound that showcases the album's layered arrangements and precise production, making it an ideal way to experience the record in full. Atlantic, the label behind this edition, is one of the most renowned and historically significant record companies in popular music. Over many decades, Atlantic has built a reputation for discovering, nurturing, and promoting influential artists across rock, soul, R&B, and pop, and for releasing high-quality recordings that stand the test of time. Their involvement underscores the album's placement within a broader tradition of important and artistically ambitious releases.

Rush never fail to impress. A must have album for the fan. What a cool album cover/artwork which looks even better on a t-shirt. The music arrangement is just perfect for my ears.

Roll the bones is album from year 1991. Album is a little unbalanced, but the quality is directed to right side. There is variety in the structures of the songs melodies. I think the tracks "Bravado" is a beautiful ballad, and "Where's My Thing" is nice instrumental song. A good album, maybe not essential to fans. But i like it and recommned to all rockers.
