"2011 DIGITAL REMASTER"
"News Of The World (2011 Remastered) Deluxe Edition" on CD presents one of Queen's most iconic 1977 albums in a powerful, refreshed sound. This deluxe edition of the classic rock milestone lets you experience era-defining anthems such as "We Will Rock You" and "We Are The Champions" in 2011 remastered audio quality, revealing more detail, clarity and dynamics than ever before. The carefully restored sound emphasizes Queen's hallmark mixture of massive guitar riffs, multi-layered vocals and inventive arrangements, while respecting the character of the original recordings and their raw rock energy. As a deluxe edition, this CD release is aimed at collectors and audiophiles who want to rediscover a legendary album in a modern, high-fidelity presentation and appreciate the historical importance of this recording in rock history.
Queen stand as one of the most successful and influential rock bands of all time, known for their genre-spanning sound that fuses hard rock, glam, pop and progressive elements. Formed around the charismatic frontman Freddie Mercury, virtuoso guitarist Brian May, precise drummer Roger Taylor and melodically inventive bassist John Deacon, the band built a catalog of worldwide hits and era-defining albums. Their songs have become global rock standards, and their powerful live performances are regarded as some of the most impressive in rock history, making Queen a cross-generational cultural phenomenon whose music continues to resonate with new audiences.
The manufacturer Island is a renowned record label with a long tradition in the international music industry. Known for its diverse roster and commitment to artistic quality, Island has repeatedly been associated with important releases and influential artists. The label places strong emphasis on high production standards and carefully curated editions, which is reflected in this 2011 remastered deluxe CD release by Queen. With its experience in catalog care and reissues, Island ensures that classic albums like "News Of The World" are preserved and presented in a form that does justice both to the original recordings and to modern listening expectations.
A very diverse album (however, like all the others from this great band). Only here, in addition to diversity in style and tempo, the unequal nature of the presented compositions immediately catches the eye. On the one hand, there are absolutely breathtaking things here, known to every person, probably from the cradle, but on the other hand, there is a lot of, frankly, ordinary material (by the standards of the group, of course). Hits such as May's "We Will Rock You" and Mercury's "We Are The Champions" are undoubtedly among the best works of rock music, and Deacon's "Spread Your Wings" is a little less popular and famous, but, nevertheless, also very high level.
On the example of this album, the fact that all four members of the group are able to write simply amazing music was especially clearly manifested. Perhaps only Taylor on this album did not excel (his two songs look rather average against the background of those already mentioned), but he has a lot of first-class hits on other albums.
In general, the album is noticeably stronger than the previous one, but due to some very unremarkable songs, it falls short of the band's best creations. However, I'm just sure that this is exactly the case when an album can be rated for one song. And in this case - three more!

QUEEN is the biggest band ever - why? - For starters, their late, great front man Freddy Mercury (born Farrokh Bulsara) had a larger-than-life personality and charisma to match his larger-than-life voice. Listen this album... and You will see,... from me: 5 stars

Un excelente álbum de Queen con dos canciones emblemas del rock de estadio, We Will Rock You y We Are The Champions. Además, fabulosas canciones como Spread Your Wings e It's Late completan este icónico álbum de 1977. Esta edición de los 40 años contiene un EP adicional con versiones diferentes y canciones no publicadas anteriormente.
