| Description: | New release from new Candid imprint Cake, home to cutting edge music from London's blossoming post-jazz scene. This is the debut album from the genre-bending jazz-rock collective featuring members of legendary British Trip-hop band Portishead. This record won best album at the BBC Jazz Awards 2008 and received high praise from critics and fans alike. The band draw on influences as diverse as the Kings of Leon, Morphine, Elvis Costello and Ornette Coleman who inspired the unusual bass, drums and horns line up. This experimental band have become famous in the UK for their dance inspired hooks and free improvisation style evident in tracks such as "Bleach Cake" and "Cake Hole".Recorded live at J&J studio, Bristol, 2007.
"Equal And Opposite" has has a minute's silence at the end, making it 6:14 in total.
