Die englische Formation Morcheeba hat in den letzten zwei Jahrzehnten über 10 Millionen Alben verkauft und ist durch die ganze Welt getourt. Sie mischen Einflüsse aus Trip Hop, Rock, Folkrock und Down-Tempo und haben seit 1995 neun Studio-Alben produziert. Zwei davon erreichten die britischen Top 10, darunter The Antidote auf Platz 17.
Das Album The Antidote von Morcheeba ist ein besonderes Werk, denn die Vocals wurden von Daisy Martey, die Skye Edwards ersetzt hat, eingesungen. Marteys psychedelischen Einflüsse wurden zu Morcheebas Standard-Mix aus Soul, Hip-Hop, Country und Elektronik hinzugefügt. Außerdem wurde The Antidote komplett live aufgenommen und enthält die wichtigen Tracks "Wonders Never Cease" und "Everybody Loves A Loser".
Erhältlich in einer limitierten Auflage von 2.000 einzeln nummerierten Exemplaren auf TRANSLUCENT RED Vinyl. - Released in a clear tray jewel case with 16 panel leporello style (folded) insert.
