Great album - There is tasteful but sustained orchestral backing throughout the album so we are much closer to classic PMG symphonic textures. Highly recommended

PAVOL M. - 01/Nov/2017 5 of 5 Stars!
When I listened Pat Metheny music for the first time, it was "love" for all life. Album with simple name, Pat Metheny Group (1978), is his third album. I prefer Methenys s albums from seventies. It is pure electric jazz, straight, harmonic, very nice. I recommned it to all beginners with modern jazz.
