| Description: | Don't Kill The Magic is an album by Magic!, released in 2022. The album is a reggae CD. - 2014 debut album from the Canadian Reggae/Pop quartet led by songwriter/producer Nasri. All members of the band are originally from the Toronto area. Nasri had been working with and writing songs for different Pop acts prior to the start of the band. He had met Mark Pelli in the studio and within a week they had written the song 'Don't Judge Me' for Chris Brown. Nasri described the chemistry between himself and Pelli as 'different than writing chemistry, it was more artistic.' A few weeks later, while Mark played a Reggae tune on the guitar, Nasri suggested to start a band like 'modern-day Police.'"Don't Kill the Magic" is the debut studio album by Canadian reggae fusion band Magic, released in 2014 on CD format. The album features a blend of pop, reggae, and R&B influences, highlighted by the international hit single "Rude," which topped charts worldwide and became an anthem for its catchy melody and relatable lyrics. Other standout tracks include "Let Your Hair Down" and "No Way No," showcasing the band's knack for infectious hooks and feel-good vibes. Magic quickly rose to fame with their unique sound that bridges genres seamlessly. RCA Records, a renowned music label with a rich history dating back over a century, has been home to legendary artists such as Elvis Presley, David Bowie, and Alicia Keys. Their commitment to nurturing innovative talent continues with acts like Magic. |
