The debut studio album by the American heavy metal band W.A.S.P., released August 17, 1984. An excellent dynamic album that lifts your spirits. I recommend.

It's hard to say if there are still people who haven't listened to one of the most important albums in Glam-Metal history. Not an album, but just an eternal celebration for 37 years.

The legendary debut album of one of the most famous heavy metal bands in the world. What can I say: the album turned out excellent in all respects and immediately brought the team the fame and success that accompanied them all the 80s. No, this is not a revelation at all, but a classic heavy metal with small patches of glam metal in some songs. However, the charisma of the group leader Blackie Lawless (his real name is Stephen Duren) was fully manifested here, whose voice and shocking became the hallmark of W.A.S.P. The recording is very good: all instruments are auditioned perfectly, the vocals are well-written. The musicians themselves didn’t screw up: the solid rhythm section of Lawless and Richards and the cool guitar duo of Holmes and Piper exude megawatts of energy from their instruments. Heavy metal action movies “I Wanna Be Somebody”, “LOVE Machine” (the best on the album), “Hellion”, “Tormentor”, “The Torture Never Stops” and the ballad “Sleeping In The Fire” have become powerful and crazy in the atmosphere classics of the group, the rest of the things just look good. Since I came across an edition with bonuses, I’ll mention a little about them: the tough, though not high-quality, obscene-pornographic action movie "Animal", pure aggressive speed metal "Show No Mercy" and another hit that was not on the album , "Paint It Black". I would say that this work is one of the most prominent in the history of W.A.S.P. and the best metal music debut in 1984, which put the band alongside rock monsters such as Judas Priest. This album is considered to be a classic of world metal.

This is the first album of Wasp. This is the great reissue. The digipack is very good!
