Tapehead was a jolt to the system on first airing. This was a more aggressive album, with 'Groove Machine' one hell of an opener. The hints of heavy funk & soul that were speckled through their early albums are more in evidence here.

The seventh studio album by American rock band King's X, released in 1998. This album blows off your face! I recommend.

So many great songs on this underrated release from a highly underrated band. From Little Bit of Soul and Higher than God to Fade and Groove Machine. The latter becoming a staple opener for concerts of the First Church of Rock & Roll.

Love it or hate it.
