UK pressing of the Australian Rock band's 2009 album. Since forming in 1997 the Perth based five piece recorded two critically acclaimed EPs before releasing their debut album Themata in 2005. Karnivool quickly established themselves as one of the premier rock bands in their homeland and a stunning live draw. Sound Awake shows a band at the height of their powers. From the jagged driving guitars and epic chorus of lead single "Set Fire to the Hive" to the bass lead "Goliath", to the soaring melodies of "All I Know" to the brooding and then balls out Rock of "New Day", this is an album that is gloriously anthemic, yet progressive in every sense of the word.
