Weathermaker Vault Series Vol. 1 by Clutch, released 27 November 2020, includes the following tracks: "Run, John Barleycorn, Run", "Fortunate Son", "Spacegrass", "Smoke Banshee" and more. This version of Weathermaker Vault Series Vol. 1 comes as a 1xCD. - .. SERIES VOL. 1

2020 release featuring eight re-recorded favorite songs from the band's catalog and two new tracks, one of those called "Passive Restraints" with guest vocals by Randy Blythe from Lamb Of God! Beginning in the summer of 2019 Weathermaker Music started to release digital only Clutch covers and re-recorded songs from their own vast catalog as a way to keep the band in the mix and in the media.

CD housed in a gatefold cardboard sleeve with a sticker (no booklet or other info). - ? ? ? ? - '[l1798996] (Volume 1)' contains six re-recorded tracks, along with four covers: Track 1, '[r=16210435]' is a re-recording featuring [a455287] (from [a255505]), which was issued as a digital single on November 13th 2020. The Clutch original was first released on the 1992 EP of the same name, '[m=8024]'. Track 2, '[r=15028429]' is a re-recording, which which was issued as a digital single on September 13th 2019. The Clutch original was first released on the 2007 album '[m=8047]'. Track 3, 'Run, John Barleycorn, Run' was first issued on the Record Store Day '[r=5608915]' split 7-inch with the band [a2512090], which was released as a numbered/limited edition (3000 copies) by Weathermaker Music on April 19th 2014 (WM034). '[r=16210432]' was also issued as a digital single on June 30th 2020. Track 4, '[r=15027942]' was issued as a digital single on June 10th 2019. 'Evil' (sometimes referred to as 'Evil Is Going On') is a Chicago blues standard written by [a166684]. Recorded by [a340678] in 1954, and released by Chess records as '[r=4013950]'. 'Evil' was then reinterpreted with more of a hard rock edge by [a327558] for their 1971 album '[m=49220]'. Track 5, '[r=15028525]' is a cover of a [a252102] song, which Clutch released as a digital single on November 29th 2019. Track 6, 'Algo Ha Cambiado' is a Spanish language cover of a [a2065651] song (written by [a1837733]). For Clutch this is a re-recording, with their first version of this cover released on the 2009 album '[m=235654]'.
