Limited 180 gram vinyl LP pressing. The Man Who Sold the World is the third studio album by David Bowie. It was originally released in the United States by Mercury Records in November 1970, and in April 1971 in the United Kingdom. The album was Bowie's first with the nucleus of what would become the "Spiders from Mars", the backing band made famous by The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars in 1972. Departing from the largely acoustic music of Bowie's second album, The Man Who Sold the World is considered by some to be a hard rock and heavy metal album. Much of The Man Who Sold the World had a distinct heavy edge that distinguishes it from Bowie's other releases, and has been compared to contemporary acts such as Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath.

David Bowie's groundbreaking album "The Man Who Sold The World (Remastered 2015)" on LP captures a key turning point in his artistic evolution. Originally released in 1970, this record marked Bowie's decisive move from folk-inspired songwriting toward a darker, electric, and more experimental rock sound, laying foundations for the glam and art-rock to come. The 2015 remaster presents the album with renewed clarity and punch, highlighting the dynamic guitar work, atmospheric arrangements, and Bowie's unmistakable voice. From menacing, riff-driven tracks to eerie, introspective songs, this LP offers a dense, immersive listening experience that rewards repeated plays and critical listening on vinyl.

The LP format is particularly suited to this album's mood and structure: the sequencing between side A and side B underlines the dramatic arc of the music and invites you to listen to the record as a cohesive whole. The remastered soundstage brings out details in the instrumentation and gives more depth to the low end, while preserving the character of the original analog recordings. Housed in a high-quality sleeve typical of Parlophone's reissue work, this edition is designed for collectors, audiophiles, and Bowie fans who want a definitive vinyl version of this era-defining work.
